Beetroot hummus can be enjoyed with vegetables as an afternoon snack or with whole wheat pita bread as a post-workout snack.

Preparation time: 15 mins
- 2 cups of cooked or canned chick peas
- 1 ½ cups of diced cooked beetroots
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- 1 tbs of olive oil
- 1 tbs of lime juice
- ½ tsp of salt
- ½ tsp of cayenne pepper (optional)
- ½ tsp of paprika
- In a food processor, blend all ingredients together
- Enjoy with pita, pita chips or vegetables!
