Fun Facts

🥔 Did you know that potatoes are a good source of starch or energy, and a good source of vitamin B6? Vitamin B6 is a water soluble vitamin that is used by your body s a co-enzyme in the metabolism of carbohydrates and protein. This means that vitamin B6 will help you store and use energy (glucogenesis and glycogenolysis), and will also help you build protein, cells and tissues, such as blood cells. One medium sized potato (I would recommend eating the potato with the peel for more fibers) is enough to cover one third of your daily vitamin B6 needs. 💉⚡️
